Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr side has secured a spot in the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League, solidifying their impressive run in the tournament. With four wins and one draw in five matches, the Riyadh-based outfit has tallied 12 goals and conceded only four, showcasing their remarkable defense. As they progress deeper into the competition, the possibility of lifting the coveted trophy grows more plausible.

Ronaldo, the 39-year-old forward, has been instrumental in Al-Nassr’s success, scoring his 912th and 913th career goals in the 3-1 win over Al-Gharafa. With four goals in four games, he is now poised to play a critical role in the team’s quest for glory. As Al-Nassr prepares to face Al-Sadd at home on December 2, they will be eager to secure another win and prolong their unbeaten streak in the competition.

The Portuguese superstar has revealed that he no longer has long-term career goals, instead, he has opted to focus on living in the present and enjoying the moment. Speaking to the press, Ronaldo expressed, “I now face my life as living in the moment. I can’t think long term anymore. I said that I wanted to reach 1,000 goals, but it seems that now everything is easy, just last month I reached 900. It’s about living in the moment, seeing how my legs will respond in the next few years. If I reach 1,000 goals, that’s fine, but if I don’t, I’m already the player with the most goals in history.”

Ronaldo’s comments do not come as a surprise, considering his remarkable achievements throughout his illustrious career. With 913 professional goals under his belt, he is undoubtedly one of the greatest players in football history. As he enters the final year of his contract with Al-Nassr, he has already made significant contributions to the team, scoring 71 goals and providing 18 assists in 81 appearances.

As Al-Nassr marches towards glory, Ronaldo will be instrumental in guiding the team towards success. With seven games remaining, including potential knockout stages, the Portuguese superstar’s experience and skill will undoubtedly be crucial in the team’s quest for the AFC Champions League title.
