Former Manchester United player Bacary Sagna believes that the club’s new manager, Ruben Amorim, would be open to welcoming back midfielder Paul Pogba, who is currently without a club after his contract with Juventus was terminated due to a doping scandal. Sagna, who played for Manchester United between 2007 and 2012, stated that Pogba loves the club and would be welcomed back by Amorim, who has a deep understanding of the situation at Old Trafford.

Pogba joined Manchester United’s youth ranks in 2007 before leaving on a free transfer to join Juventus in 2012. He returned to the club in 2016 for a reported €105 million fee but ran down his contract to rejoin Juventus for free in 2022. Despite his past struggles at the club, Sagna believes that Pogba’s love for Manchester United would make him an attractive proposition for Amorim.

Sagna’s comments come at a time when Manchester United are in need of a boost after a poor start to the season. The team has struggled to find consistency under their new manager, Ruben Amorim, who has been in charge for just two games. The Red Devils are currently in 12th place in the league, and a win in their next Europa League match against Bodo/Glimt would be a welcome relief.

Gary Neville, a Manchester United legend, is optimistic about the club’s prospects under Amorim, but acknowledges that it will take time for the players to adjust to the new manager’s style. He believes that once Amorim has worked with the players, Manchester United will start to see a higher performance level.

Pogba’s return to Manchester United would be a significant boost to the team, given his experience and quality on the pitch. However, it remains to be seen whether Amorim would be willing to take a chance on the midfielder, who has been plagued by injuries and has struggled to maintain his form over the years.

Regardless of whether Pogba returns to Manchester United or not, Amorim has a challenging task ahead of him to turn around the team’s fortunes. With a young and inexperienced squad, it may take some time for the Portuguese manager to put his stamp on the team and bring about positive results. However, with Pogba’s love for the club and Amorim’s understanding of the situation, there is a chance that the midfielder could make a third return to Old Trafford.
